Lady Pac is a homage to Ms. Pac-Man, an arcade game published by Midway in 1982.

Main differences from the original version:

  • Procedurally generated mazes
  • Bonus rounds

Gameplay

The gameplay is very similar to that of Pac-Man. The player earns points by eating pellets while having to avoid contact with the ghosts in order not to lose a life. Eating an energizer (or "power pellet") causes the ghosts to turn blue, allowing them to be eaten for extra points. Bonus fruits can be eaten to increase the score, three times per round. As the player progresses through the rounds, the ghosts' speed increases, and energizers generally reduce the duration of the ghosts' vulnerability.

At 10000 points and then every 50000 points, the player earns an extra life, for a maximum of 7 lives.

Options

There are 4 difficulty levels to choose from: Easy, Normal, Hard, Expert.

You can choose whether to start a game with 3, 4 or 5 lives.

I'm not sure how to contact you, so I post this message here.

I donated for Dig Dug Revival, Random Pac and Lady Pac. I noticed today (9/9/2025) those have been updated, so I downloaded the new win-x86.zip versions. None works, double clicking on the exe does nothing.

I tried the older versions, and Dig Dug Revival and Random Pac don't work anymore (same thing, double clicking does nothing), whereas Lady Pac still works. They worked on my old Windows 10 PC, but meanwhile I got a new PC with Windows 11, so I guess it's a Windows 11 issue. What should I do?

I just downloaded the three games you mentioned and tested them on a Windows 11 PC, and all three work perfectly.

Could you try launching one of the games that aren't working from Command Prompt (CMD) and let me know if you get any kind of message in the window?

Thank you for your reply.

Using command prompt, it works. But when I double click, nothing happens. I don't get it.

Other indie games, such as Locomalito games, work fine. I only get this issue with your games.

I fixed it.

On Windows 10, when an exe was from an unknown editor, the OS asked you if you wanted to launch it anyway. Here, it cancels the launch of the game without saying anything, you have to right click and go into properties to unlock the exe (checking the very last box on the first page, I didn't notice the new option at first).

Well, I didn't know about this either. The Windows 11 PC I tested the games on probably behaves the same way as before because it was a PC that had Windows 10 and was updated to 11. Evidently on a new PC built with Windows 11, this option must be enabled for each executable file.

The option I had to check was "this exe comes from another computer", that's why you didn't have it.

Anyway, your games are fantastic. Thanks for replying, now you know this issue can happen, just in case someone else has the same problem.

Genuinely one of the best Pac-Man fangames I've played period. It feels incredibly accurate to the original arcade game's behavior. The randomly generated mazes all play pretty nicely, and the Bonus Ride's are a pretty fun little diversion the original game lacked entirely! I also appreciate the Speed hack being implemented here as an optional key press ~ Pretty much every version of Ms. Pac-Man I found in the wild as a kid had it and the game just 'feels' nicer with it on.

Curious, are there any plans for a Jr-Pac as well? I'm wondering what design challenges that would require overcoming.

Thank you so much for appreciating the work I put into making this game.

As for "Jr-Pac", as you would call it, I'm afraid I'm unlikely to make any more PC games. The ones I make for C64 are much more popular (judging by the number of downloads and especially donations), so I will focus more on them.

please  don't make the game slow because I have been using apponfly and it is slow.

On a normal PC the game runs at the exact same speed as the arcade version. I don't know about AppOnFly but I think that's what's slowing it down.

Fantastic! Thank you for Linux support!

Awesome! I started with the C64 version and had to come back for more. Love this version too now! Always great to pick up for a quick game. Beautiful graphics, perfect game play, and lots of variety. The bonus levels are such a great addition! Thanks!

Again, thank you so much for appreciating my work!

Thank you, thank you! I love this game, it's pretty much a Pac-dream come true. The colors! The mazes! The options! = D I made a little "let's play"

I also bought five more of your games so I have to go start working on videos
of them now.

Thanks for these great games, I can hardly believe someone actually made such great twists on these classic games!!! ^ D^^

I'm really very glad that you like my works! I wish there were more enthusiasts like you around the world. And thanks for your videos!
